Can’t find seniors? ...
It is no secret that our industry is facing skill shortages. On any day of the week the Jobsearch website alone has around 200 vacancies for hairdressers. Clever employers are looking to secure future employees in innovative ways. By employing one or more school based apprentices you are able to jump the queue in recruiting talented candidates for your business before they make other career choices. We have identified that there are a large number of Year 11 and 12 students wishing to commence their working careers in the hairdressing industry and that their schools are supportive in releasing them one or more days a week to commence their training.
