A typical day at the Academy

in any day at the Academy you could be asked to:

1. Attend and participate in industry seminars and workshops.
2. Perform salon reception duties under close supervision and mentorship.
   
3. Performing your newly acquired knowledge and skills on real clients to deliver the hair they want while also using your creativity.
4. Provide hairdressing services of a high standard to clients of the Academy salon. These include hair design, cutting and colouring.
   
5. Learn to work comfortably and communicate effectively in a salon environment.
   
6. Be mentored by Teachers who are expert stylists, colourists and business managers
7. Work on numerous employment enhancement skills. This includes: creating a top-notch resume, learning how to master interview techniques, setting career plans and looking for a job in Brisbane’s salons.
8. Develop real client relationships and become skilled in client consultation.
